Just got my beastlets in for the night and their turnout rugs were frozen! Had to defrost a clip in my hand to be able to open it
Along their backs and around the bottom of the rugs were frozen solid
Don't think I've ever known that to happen before!
Both felt warm enough and had another layer under their turnout so I am guessing that the rugs being frozen is a good sign that no heat is escaping from the horse?!?
