full cheek bits

can any one find a pic that shows one in use with keepers?? im trying to find one on google but not having much luck

Why do you need a pic with keepers? I use mine with keepers...

well im using a snaffle one with hooks at the mo therefore no need for keepers however im now changing to one with a lozenge but no hooks so need to put on keepers and just wanted to have a look how it 'should look'. Should the noseband (i use a flash) be right up out the way of the bit?

Yes - flash out the way... anyway - think pics above show

I like using mine with keepers - is more of a hanging cheek type of action

saw this -surely the top of the bit must hook under the noseband?? my full cheek with hooks did when my noseband was a bit low. its really irritating

Yes - looks like in in that pic...

I use mine with a grackle and I have the bit loops/keepers much lower down than in that pic....

Reckon it would get caught in that pic... will see if I can find a pic of mine to show you!

a ha now thats better. fabity fab. so all i need to do is make sure noseband is well up out the way of top of bit and keepers go right at top of bit! i dont know whats wrong with me today, y am i worring about adding bit keepers??? doh!

if the bit come over the noseband, needs to over not tucked under noseband, allows freedom of rein aids and allows bit to move, even with keepers
