Full/hunter clip - saddle patch or not?

First clip I normally take the whole lot off (including legs), then the next I leave the legs on

Deffinatly leave a full saddle patch... saddle rubs cause problems, days that you can't ride, a sweaty saddle patch is easily more preferable than a sore horse.

Take it all off!

Saddle patches are from the age where nunmahs were not used.
Unless you are planning to ride without a numah take it off - after all who likes a washing machine full of hair????

I always leave it on as I think it could be uncomfy for the horse to have his stubbly bit rubbing under his saddlecloth.

Mine have "rugby ball" shaped ones, but then who cares?! At shows, its always under a saddle anyway so it doesnt matter what it looks like!
