Full Time Workers - Your Routine?

Alarm goes off 5.45. Welshy on DIY livery about 20 mins away. Arrive, tack up and hack out covered head to toe in Hi viz and flashing lights (poor pony!). In winter we only manage about 30 mins tops. Sadly yard has no school.

Back at yard I feed and muck out round her whilst she eats, fill nets make evening feed and net and turn out for the day.

Back home for 7.30-7.45 shower, change and set off for work at 8.15-8.30. Start work at 9.15pm

Finish work at 5.15, battle traffic for an hour to get to yard around 6.15. I then bring mine and a friend's horses in. Not usually much to do at night as all prepared in morning.

Try to get to the gym for around 7-7.30pm and do about an hour which gets me home sometime around 8.30 to start making dinner etc. Usually eat at around 9pm (I know that's really bad health wise) and collapse in bed for around 10pm.

Summer isn't so hectic as mare is out 24/7 so I go to gym before work (friend checks mare has four legs) and I hack out after work. We have lovely hacking so summer evenings are a lovely way to unwind after stressful day at work.

My house is always reasonably tidy (except my bedroom which is sometimes a bit messy) but all cleaning done at weekend.

No one ever died saying "I wish I had hoovered up one more time!"
:-D
