I couldn't get to the yard last week so I asked my boyfriend who has only ever seen me do it a few times to pop down for me. He poo- picked the field and I asked him whilst doing this to put Crafty in the arena to amuse himself, then give him a quick brush, sun cream, water and feed. He came home and announced, "oh I lunged him too for you!" to my SHOCK! Turns out what had happened was Tom had gone to fetch him in from the arena with a lead rope and upon seeing the rope Crafty had run a twenty metre circle around him for ten mins! Because I had told Tom in the past that lungeing is you stood in the middle with a rope whilst the horse runs around you, he came home with the idea that he had 'trained' him for me! Actually since Craft has been really good so maybe he did!!
