i know how to gallop with stirrups but ive always wanted to gallop bareback. any help please? ive only ever done walk, trot and canter bareback. thanks

if you are able to ride in walk, trot, canter and not lose you balance even if canter to trot tranisiton isn't smooth then you should be ok, just grab a bit of mane when you're slowing down and have your legs long, they help you stay upright and keep your balance nicely. just do make sure you have breaks, nothing worse than to have to fight to stop while being bareback. oh and prepare yourself for a much bouncier trot, as galloping will be exciting so trot will be bouncierhave fun!
heres me on my exloan horse, although i'm not quite sure if we're properly galloping at that point yet or if it was before full speed.
