I find the best stable names are linked to the passport or show / racing name. I usually start there and work back.

I thought about buying another horse years back and I was going to call it Tory. Would have been hilarious to me for my leftie friends and family. Naughty!

Norman or Terry

ETA - the more I think about it the more I think Terry is a spectacular name for a horse. Ken is too and maybe Nigel?

I too think Old Bloke names are good for horses; Trevor, Derek and Brian would also work.

I'm amused by the idea of scruffy dobbin ponies called Stardust, Dawnweave, Ravenwing etc and posh TB crosses named Jeff and Geezer.
