I bought my little gelding 2 years ago as a gelding. I am 100% sure he is one. However, I noticed last year that his passport still says he is a colt - I guess it didn't get updated when the vet did the chop for one of his previous owners (all 5 of them by 2 years old!). Now, I may need to sell him this year and I guess the passport inaccuracy may cause an issue with potential purchasers. What would the vets need to do to be able to sign it? Could they have a quick grope, or would they need to do a full blown hormone test? He's not worth much money wise so I'd prefer not to spend tons of money on tests if not necessary. Thanks.
