Hi Everyone.
I was wandering what supplements you could suggest to me to give Ted a bit of a boost. He's been under the weather for a while now. He's having blood tests next time the vet is out. But I am looking to give him a supplement to boost him..
Anyone?

We have used propell plus and equi red with good results and also pink powder with top spec conditioning flakes if we felt that it was more of a dietary need as such .

See I thought of pink powder. As he has been underweight (TB gelding) but to be fair to him, he is in a good shape now.
Do you think PP could help him? Just seem very run down!

I used Redcell to good effect with my mare - she gets a bit run down when she changes her coat in the spring. It seems to just give her a bit of a boost. Good plan with the bloods, though.

global herbs restore liquid, it's a herbal d-tox and very bloody good!!!! transformed one of mine! another good one is pro pell plus.

we had an old arab(30 +) who had been in good shape up until about 9 months ago and she then started having trouble with her breathing went through all the tests for copd, bronchitis, pnuemonia etc and the only thing that showed up was that she aneamic. The pony was getting progressivly worse throughout (this diaganosis took about 4 months to get to) and was on the verge of being put to sleep. Vet recommended a iron/vit and min supplement as the intravenous treatment would work for a week or so and then the probs would start again so we started her on the propell plus and she looks in the best shape . She still works in our riding school, clear lungs and is probably one of the brightest ponies on the yard. I feel that it saved this pony as routine treatments just weren't working. If the right diagnosis had been made earkier then the intravenous may have been more successful but getting to that point just took too long. Needless to say she won't be coming off it ever!! The other thing is my 17.3hh was very ill a couple of years ago with a virus and ws given an injection of haemovit b(think this was the name) and again had a miracuolous transformation within 48 hours or so. Hope Ted is on the mend soon

Remount is a really excellent tonic and liver restorative, best used in advance of a course of Global Herbs Restore. Remount can be ordered from the Snuggy Hoods website under 'non-Snuggy products.

my mare too is a bit low at moment iridologist said her immune system was a little low have just started her on global herbs restore liquid and immuneplus to give her a boost i wonder if the weather has anything to do with it you know like people this time of year with SAD due to lack of sun being absorbed?
