We'll after the enormous cost of joining the Pony Club I though we best start doing something!
So yesterday the girls had their 1st rally. Wasn't sure we'd actually get there as when we got to the end of our lane the pony was making a right racket and when i looked the through the little monkey had climbed the breast bar!
So got him off and flipped him around so he traveled backwards half way up the stall (so nothing to climb) he stood beautifully the whole 30 minutes to the racecourse.
The girls share a pony as eldest is not completely off the lead (and I can't be everywhere) so they shared an hours lesson. The instructor was brilliant with all the kids, the venue was also perfect.
DD1 (5yo) started and I was very proud as she's quite quiet and although has a natural position she's in no hurry to do any more that walk, but she had 3 trots of the long side and i think surprised herself how much she enjoyed it.
DD2 (6yo) hoped on half way through and after a lap came off the lead rein. DD2 doesn't have the 'pretty' position DD1 has, but she's got great balance and lots of bottle. So she enjoyed a quite a few good trots going solo she beamed the whole time!
Dc came an introduced herself which was lovely, pony travelled (backwards) beautifully on the way home, the girls can't wait for the next rally, and I feel so blessed to have 2 gorgeous daughters who share my passion in life!- GREAT TIMES!!!
DD1 (yes the saddle had slipped a bit!)
DD2 Before coming off the lead
And the PC favourite Around the world!
