Who are you going with? I went once, never going again lol, sticking with my normal hunt. Drag hunting isnt for the faint hearted (me in other words).
Cheshire Farmers are fine for anyone - guarantee a way around every fence and last Saturday there were four little girls on tiny ponies with us. Plenty of adults on big horses don't jump.
Children and beginner meets and Intro to Hunting meets with North East Cheshire are good for the less bold as well.
I just love the hedges!!
The problem i had was there were no breaks, it was just flat out all the time, no good for me with my dodgy body parts, i like to be able to have a good run & then a chance to catch your breath & my horse to have a rest. Have to admit as it was described as a 2* which was meant to be suitable for novice riders & young horses i was very disappointed.
I don't understand. We generally have five or six legs and there is a lengthy break between each one while the scent is laid for the next leg.
