Well the heron doesnt like mine then!!!!
I have never fed my fish so much as a pellet of food, yet they are well grown and healthy...... far more so than the sissy tropical fish I have at home.....
Basically if they dont have bugs, they dont eat..... Its as nature intended.
But I do agree that the trough needs to be one of the large 150gallon + ones, not a silly little bucket size one, and a dustbin will not have a large surface area, so they may suffer oxygen starvation in that!!!
