i think its deplorable but.....i,ve read the welfare act and nowhere in it says its illegal to drive a one year old , so what can the rspca do?
something needs to be done. The welfare people need to make a stand .
I made a comment about DD a few weeks ago and was shot down in flames..... This sort of proves all I said. If DD and similar advertisers, eg Preloved, took a bit of responsibilty and used some sort of ethical approach just maybe they could start to make a difference. As it is they appear to endorse ridden/driven babies. Oh well, money in their pockets is more important to them than ethics I guess.

DD is owned and run by a certain ethnic group, so not likely to monitor anything. After all, many of them see no problem with driving a six month old foal down a duel carriage way.
The only way to stop them is to not buy from them.
They rely on the soft hearted to buy their over priced, badly put together animals.
What a strange attitude!oMG , DD again
Not a snob , and some very lovely ponies on their , but would never buy from there due to , it seems, no checking of age and condition to sell![]()
Don't know why you torture yourselves by looking on there.
99% "ethic minority" selling pitiful creatures to people who don't have a hard enough heart to say no.
Tis very sad
I very nearly text him, but I just don't have the money right now
I would love to buy him and give him the love and time to mature that he deserves!!
He would look lovely alongside by little cobby!
Poor chap![]()
