Absolutely - best of luck. Have just seen the trainer on BBC2 prog and he sounded very positive. Rosie did some training at Newmarket with Yogi a couple of years ago and Daryl Jacob was there too and she thought he was really nice - he's an excellent jockey so the omens are good.
ETS - I shall have a small bet E/W S-J but who knows - it's the National !!

i thought the odds where really long

but i hope horse and jockey come home safe and sound, someone i know fell in foxhunter chase and fall was HEAVY

on jockey....

The ground is good with a bit cut, so it will be fast race,

so really wish all riders and horses come back in one piece

I don't think i'm going to be able to watch the race

and even if i try i wont be able to see, as will more than likely be crying

please come home safe Philson!!

As for if you should put your money on.. who knows, it's the National.. he'd have far more of a chance if the ground was heavy, as he will stay all day at the same speed, but wouldn't win in a dash for the post, which is what it'll be on faster ground.. but defo worth an e/w bet

Its been raining lightly all night here (6 miles away) and I personally would say the ground is soft and more holding than the official report. So personally I would think he was in with a shout, although personally I dont give tips being as I told everyone to avoid Red Maurader as the dodgy jumper when he won!!!

MDM - he is one of the 'hot picks' in the Independent this morning. I think you will need nerves of steel to watch later on

I will be putting an E/W on him for myself and one for my OH.

Come home safely Phil...
