I hope she is fine now, I know how awful colic is. Nearly lost Rigs last year and the fear is real every day since!

At least Millie's is gas from wet grass, which I think can pass quicker than a dry blockage.

She’s quieter than I’d like to be honest so I’m not convinced we are out of the woods. Considering they said to starve her overnight, I thought she’d be more angry. She’s done 3 poos. She was happy to tuck into a bit of hay this morning so going to pop her back in her normal winter field (that she can’t escape from!) and then I’ll pop down after my first dog to check her.
Last time she wasn’t right, it took 3 days to pass.
Honestly, if I lose her, I’m done.

So sorry to read all this - think you have really had enough to deal with lately! Hope Millie is just feeling a bit hungover and will bounce back.

It can take a few days and especially if she has gorged on grass she probably genuinely wasn't starving this morning.

Fingers crossed she is back to normal soon x

Just been to check her and she’s happily gazing with Polly. Friend is doing the next check at 12.30 coz I’m working and then I’ll be there from 3pm onwards anyway.
Got that horrible heart in your mouth when you arrive at the yard thing. That pony is my whole universe and I’m relying on her to get me back in the saddle ❤️

That sounds promising, she was probably tired and a bit low after last night, poor girl. Hope you are holding up OK and your ankle isn't complaining too much.

I think it took Dex a week at least to get back to normal..if not more...he was tubed 3 times. Try not to panic, sounds like she is just sore (easier said than done i know!!)
