I'm so sorry for you. Gingerwitch is a lucky lady though, not many horses have such loving & compassionate owners.

I hope you have a wonderful last day together & she goes peacefully tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you all x.
 
Can't add anything other than what has already been said; your mare will appreciate not being left to suffer. I hope all goes well and you are left with lots of happy memories. xx

More tears. Been there too and know how hard it is.

Ages ago, julian clary was on room 101 and he wanted to put dogs in the bin. When asked why, particularly when thinking of his little sidekick, Fanny the wonderdog, he replied

"because it hurts too much when they die"

says it all. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.
