For those who don't know, a slitter is something that helps loosen up compacted soil and lets air in. This help drainage on wet lands and stops rain just running off on compacted ground. It also lets the grass roots go deeper and get nutrients more easily so that you get better nutritionally balanced grass.
But the question is how often should you do it. Do you just get a contractor to help once a year or is it something ideally you should do several times a year and therefore invest in your own machinery.
Anyone know?
