Bought my Connie one and it’s the only thing that’s working in keeping the weight off he wears it for approx 12 hours. Problem is it’s rubbing any ideas on how I can stop this ? Not really in a position to take the muzzle off . He does not pen at all and really needs to go out each night . Thanks for you responses in advance .

I covered mine in a mix of faux sheepskin and neoprene (for covering stirrup leathers) attached with cable ties

I wrapped the bits around the chin in duct tape, making it really smooth and shiny reduced the friction in that area. Plus sheepskin noseband sleeves on the straps around the head. What size have you bought? I always use a size bigger than they usually wear in bridles/headcollars to give a bit more room around the muzzle.

Currently wearing a Hy cob one he trashed the first one and ordered him a shires a few days ago . Already tried the duck tape trick and now it’s the straps and the rim . He has a cob sized one .

There’s plenty of space around the muzzle he wears a cob sized bridle with extra holes in headpiece due to his small head . Am
Off to hunt for sheepskin. Now thanks z
