Grazing muzzles

The only one I would recommend is the fleece lined ones. Any other tends to rub within hours and then can’t be used again until healed. I’ve had lots of success with the fleece one this year.

I have always used Dinky muzzles but DP was getting to much grass through his so I have just bought one from Kramer. It has a rubber bottom with huge area for the nostrils and the eating hole is rectangular rather than round. He has been wearing it a week now and it hasn’t rubbed anywhere. B is still in his Dinky and looking very slim.

Struggling a bit here ! sadly Fleece lined ones made him very sweaty and the Dinky one we had rubbed out the bottom .
I’ve used Greenguard before but just didn’t get on with them as found them to rub .
he will have to have it on longer than it’s off so need something comfortable and the KM Elite looked softer however it’s pricey

The KM elite is under £20 so cheaper than both Greenguard and Dinky. It is similar to the Steeds one I have just bought from Kramer which was £22.
The one I’m looking at is the Thin line flexible filly @£72 as would probably suit him the best due to my grazing as well

I believe someone recently just bought one of those but I forget how to spell their username who maybe search for it and the thread will pop up

That make sure more sense ? reviews are mixed. Some people find they are really good, breathable but they have to make the hole larger and others find their horses destroy them within 24 hours and it’s a very expensive way of buying piece of plastic.

The flexible filly is fantastic. My guy has to wear a muzzle most of the year round and this has proven to be perfect. Much more freedom around their face.

it was poiuytrewq

easy to remember how to spell her name, it's the top letters of the keyboard backwards!

I also use a flexible filly one. Horse is in it between 12-16 hours and I have added Le Mieux fleece head collar attachments. No rubbing (although fleece dye does run on his grey face!) he’s happy to have it on and helps keep him at a sensible weight without having to keep him stabled for longer periods.
