Thought you guys might like a little update about the grey horse we 'acquired' a couple of months ago. I can't go into a great deal of detail but will tell you what I can.
Firstly he is still with me!
We have spend a heck of a lot of time tracing his history and finding out what we can about him!
He is an 8 year old Selle Francais and is reasonably well bred (well it looks like it to me but I don't really 'do' breeding!). He hasn't competed but has got an impressive jump (1.40m
) and works nicely on the flat.
He does however have his quirks which we have been told about so isn't the most straight forward of horses and not anybodies ride!
Unfortunately we are not in a position to keep him for various reasons (for which I can't go into on here) but as we now have legal ownership of him we can start looking for a 'forever' home for him.
He is such a lovely chap on the ground and I think he has the potential to be a really fun, competitive horse. It will be sad to see him go but equally it will be nice to see him settled in a new home getting the attention he deserves
