Definitely not Dun - it's not genetically possible.

His dam could have been buckskin, palomino or smoky black before she greyed out (not a double dilute though as she has black skin) you might get a clue from the colour of her fleabites. At 14 months, he really should have lost every trace of his foal coat. :)

ETA. It's a possibility that he's a smoky black, if you want to know, you could get him DNA tested (I don't believe that it's too expensive these days) and get him tested for cream and grey (to answer the grey question, although with that gene you could wait and see what happens).

not when your trying to sell them, not only do prospective purchasers want to know how big they'll make they also want to know what colour they are lol.
