OK I am really looking for a decent body brush - currently have a leather backed one which is dying. I bought another leather backed one and it's not the same. Can anyone recommend anything?

Also considering updating some of my other brushes/ equip so any recommendations would be appreciated -thanks

I find the leather backed type with the red handle are best(possibly collegiate? cant remember name), or some wooden backed can be quite good... will go have a look for the one I got recently...

2 Oster sets in the bag, with a wooden backed goat hair brush in each. Perfect. Make a pony shine like glass for a show.

Just use dandy brushes or a very old wooden backed body brush at home

I bought a lovely body brush made with natural bristle from Horse Health Wessex this year - it has 2 levels of bristle if that makes sense - the ones round the edge are longer so it is really good for getting the dust out of my mare's coat. I also like the fact that it is natural bristle so we don't get electric shocks from it (I find nylon bristles just too shocking!)

It has a blingy strap too - added bonus!!

ETA - I also love the Oster brushes, their tail brush is the only thing that can get my horse's cob tail tangle free
