grrr..horse backed into a car!

Took useless pony up the road to gallop (nice farmer has let us use a huge field for galloping). Fine, got him up the road past the pigs and had a gallop.
On the way home he was funny about the pigs, and as a jeep came up, just as it went past he saw....a fencepost...
Cue swinging round and backing up, straight into the jeep (it was one of those jeeps with a funny back) so his bum hit the back of the jeep. The driver carried on (wasn't his fault, was pony spooking) and I'm not ashamed to say pony got a stripey bottom to get him past the fencepost.
Typical horses...it just had to be that moment!
He has not a mark on him, no damage done at all. Was a very scary moment though, thought he was going to either put me in the car or throw himself on it. A fencepost!!!

aww bless! my friend sold her pony and a few weeks after he sat on a car because the kids moms horse is a youngster and spooked so he jumped back! woops! x

My OH's previous horse reversed at spped into a Vauxhall Corsa just after he'd got on board at her first public outing.... She smashed the back windscreen!

She escaped with a cut, quite deep but uncomplicated, and thankfully the owner was quite forgiving! Still cost £250 to get the windscreen replaced though
