Go up to ride my horse tonight, and decide to take her for a hack, just as I was tacking up another livery says I can go with her and another if I want as Berry is'nt very good by herself. Well the 3rd person (who is a 13 yr old girl), starts stopping around and going over to her mum and whispering as im getting ready. Start out on our hack and the girl storms off in front on her horse and does'nt say a word to either of us the whole way round. I asked if she was ok and all I got was a grunt, so I didnt bother trying to speak to her after that.
On way home going over the flyover her horse done a tiny little spook at a bag on the grass verge and she completley loses it with her yanking her in the mouth and kicking her at the same time and because the horse reacted to this she decides to scream at it and hit it around the head with its reins while yanking and kicking. This is in rush hour traffic with everyone gawping at her as they attempt to drive past. So I turned round and said to her 'thats a bit out of order is'nt it?'. With that she stopped it and stormed off back to the yard where a bloke who is another livery was waitin for her, as soon as she gets off she starts crying and whispering to him (there is something very worring about their 'friendship').
And im left to feel like the wicked witch of the east (or is that west?? can never remember lol).
Her mum knows what she is like and too be honest can be just as bad, so Now im waiting for her mum to have a go when I see her tomorrow, because apparently everyone always picks on her!!!!
What would any of you lot of done if you saw another livery really lay into there horse for absolutly no reason??, Was I wrong in saying something??, I just did'nt want people thinking that that is the way that everyone in the yard treats their horses as there is quite a few yards around by us and im sure someone from one of them must of seen her as she was at it for a good 10 mins!
Cookies and ice cream for getting this far xx.
