Guide dogs not allowed?!

That is so pathetic. Name and Shame them!

Indeed!

A different issue from actual guide dogs, I know, but there are four pubs in my village...

One has signs front and back welcoming well-behaved dogs, provides water bowls and has dog biscuits behind the bar (and a pack of resident inuits, mals and GSDs sprawled about everywhere :D). One has a large grassy beer garden, provides water bowls and allows them in the public bar in certain circumstances. One, despite a sign saying 'well behaved dogs welcome' only admits small lap-dog types and get shirty about anything bigger than a westie. One forbids any dogs at all despite having a garden.

Guess which two pubs I frequent, even when I don't have a dog with me, and which two get the majority of summer tourist/walkers/caravanners/camping trade? :p

Thats so sad :(

There is a blind man that walks his dog in the park where I live, and when the dog poos there is always another dog owner/member of the pubic that will pick up after it. I never saw that in the UK and its really nice that everyone will muck in and help to keep the park nice for us all. As everyone should do :) Why would anyone not wish to let a guide dog in? Particularly when it is working and doing its job
