Gun dog training

I’m hopefully organising a two day course for a few people with a gun dog trainer in Oxfordshire. Well I’m not really organising it but I’ve been in touch and if there’s about 5 people they will put in a two day course.
Long shot but is anyone interested? I’ll be taking 2 novice dogs. It will be a stay a night at a pub job for people like me who live a journey away.
I’ve no idea on cost. This trainer appears to be a positive sort of person, not a ‘carry it by its ears’ type trainer.

Sounds good, depending on when, pretty flexi so long as Rob can be here to take over.. I'd be free last week of March onwards (F season and a holiday for Rob's 60th)

There's a dearth of training days etc available here - although we do have a good ladies training group together now even if I am the only non retriever bod! Usually I go to Yorkshire for rabbits for the trial dogs.

As for darkside....the spaniels train with with Open FT level retrievers! 105 yard over two drains for a blind yesterday

. I actually meant over the border in t’south. So we couldn’t take our dogs to you. I’m sure you could cope with training a lab for a day, although you might find it a bit dull

I am South, although we train both sides of the border. Only rabbits I have access to here are on an Island outside Belfast!

Yes the pet travel rules are all a pain now - I'm getting the Crufts rush now of people trying to get passports up to date

About 4 hours drive for us, but possibly We are very much novices tho!

I've already got a cople booked in, but I should think you'll be fully subscribed very quickly!

Really? Would be great. I have a couple of completely out of control picking up dogs so seriously you needn’t worry about training or lack of.

Why? The lap of honour is a recognised and indeed encouraged return by my books. They got it, let them flaunt it.
