I’m hopefully organising a two day course for a few people with a gun dog trainer in Oxfordshire. Well I’m not really organising it but I’ve been in touch and if there’s about 5 people they will put in a two day course.
Long shot but is anyone interested? I’ll be taking 2 novice dogs. It will be a stay a night at a pub job for people like me who live a journey away.
I’ve no idea on cost. This trainer appears to be a positive sort of person, not a ‘carry it by its ears’ type trainer.
 
There's a dearth of training days etc available here - although we do have a good ladies training group together now even if I am the only non retriever bod! Usually I go to Yorkshire for rabbits for the trial dogs.

As for darkside....the spaniels train with with Open FT level retrievers! 105 yard over two drains for a blind yesterday :oops:

😄. I actually meant over the border in t’south. So we couldn’t take our dogs to you. I’m sure you could cope with training a lab for a day, although you might find it a bit dull 😃
 
I am South, although we train both sides of the border. Only rabbits I have access to here are on an Island outside Belfast!

Yes the pet travel rules are all a pain now - I'm getting the Crufts rush now of people trying to get passports up to date

I've already got a cople booked in, but I should think you'll be fully subscribed very quickly!
