Well, I told my daughter and she's been fantastic. She's obviously very upset but has handled it very well and apart from some tears every now again is ok. We're off to see the rest of our equine family in a bit and they're all gonna get an extra big squeeze. I just hope that it wasn't anything that may effect the rest of them..I suppose time will tell..

Well it seems Ellie had cancer. The post mortem has revealed that there was an awful lot going on in there and that she had absolutely no chance of recovery. Most likely it has been creeping up on her for a long time..I just hope she didn't suffer too much..she certainly didn't show it if she did
