When i first got gypsy i was told that she should be put to sleep, she was evil, she would never amount to anything. Ok it was by a woman who wanted to buy her but couldnt afford to.
When i first got her she would rear up, stand at the back of the stable, shake if i dare go near her. She seemed the impossible.
Just want to show yous an update, its to inspire those who think that they will never get anywhere with their horse, even when things got tough with her, we ploughed on. Now she follows me like a puppy, it no longer takes 30 minutes to put a headcollar on and she gets excited when she sees me.
Gypsy was broke when i got her, but she didnt trust anyone near her. She accepted the bit and saddle, but if you dare mount her, she would charge, rear, buck etc. She was sooo badly done to, she was covered in whip marks, burns and she hated having anyone around. Shes still scared a bit of men, but she no longer acts the way she does.
These photos fill me with pride.
No bucking!!!
No longer the mad horse!
