Daily - NAF D-tox (for respiratory problems)
While weather very hot - NAF Respirator with D-tox.
NAF 5* superflex (for arthritic mare) only during colder weather.
Cider vinegar at other times for arthritis.

Daily: Extra - Flex (feedmark) for my old girlies joints!
When very hot/after hard work: NAF Electrolytes
During the winter: Dodson and Horrell Breathe Free.

I only use a calmer - NAF Magic Calmer on one of mine - I don't really take a lot of notice of a lot of the supplements on the market

I feed my 29 year old TopSpec balancer, NAF cidar vinegar, and black sunflower seeds!

Bloody hell guys!!!!

So there is only two of us here that doesn't feed ANY supplements?!?!?! That is actually quite shocking!
I hunted Benson all last season on Maintenance Nuts and Chaff! He was fully fit and I don't think he was in need of anything added to his diet. He is being fed this summer only due to the fact he is not holding enough weight for the show ring...but still I give no supplements...I don't see any need for them as most of the feed available on the market are already balanced.

I agree if fed at the recommended amounts, however Spring only gets a handful of Happy Hoof so I add a vit/min supplement to ensure she gets all she needs and she gets Oestress as she can be a stroppy madam!

Daily I give my riding horse TRM Hoofmaker Plus (was using Formula4Feet but it didn't seem any better & this is cheaper & handier), Feel Good 30 science formula calmer & Equivite general vit & min supplement at half dose. I use a probiotic in the spring to help him adjust to the spring grass & any other time I feel he may need it.

My little 2yo gets a full dose of Equivite general vit & min supplement every day as he gets very little hard feed.

They also both have access to salt licks.

Dodson and Horrell breath easy on a daily basis for allergies/respiratory problems.

Soy oil (with selenium E) daily for healthy coat and condition, he gets more during the winter though when he drops weight and condition.

Conditioning cubes during the winter

occasional Equine America so-kalm paste before XC or especially exciting/stressful environments.

protexin probiotics-mainly because I have a high risk horse in a high risk area for grass sickness. black oil sunflower seeds and he has a salt/mineral lick in field. no hard feed-small amout of haylage a day.
