Oh poo.... it seems the clip has been pulled... not showing, would like to have seen it after this thread!

i think it was pulled by RTTH themselves as a copyright dispute.
Road to the horse is not a Parelli production, nor did Pat win the colt start competition, which takes place over two days, where three people compete to back an unhandled youngster and ride it through a course which tests how well the trainer has backed the horse.
All this takes place in front of a large noisy crowd.
Personally I don't like competition of any description including this sort of thing, racing and dressage, any equine sports, but lots do and its the only reason some keep horses.
True Pat was bucked off not the first time and doubt it will be the last.
Now, whether or not the RTTH is something that offends a lot of our H&H friends, I would have to say that, to take an unhandled horse and back and ride it over the course in the two days shows a level of skill which is undeniably high.
I note that a lot of the usual suspects have contributed to this thread, who only appear when the anti Parelli pot needs a stir. You will note that one or two have little to say on anything unless it's anti Parelli, this makes me wonder what's really behind these posts of theirs, and of course the other posters who don't know what it's about but don't like it.

This is a typical Parelli type repost, whatever your opinion, others will have differing one's and each is entitled to their opinion.
To allude that there is some 'agenda' behind poster's comments is quite frankly laughable, I also see you use the typical Parelli response that we don't understand the concepts, which was the excuse that PP used in response to the criticism over the Catwalk affair, which horrified even some of the most hardened Parelli converts.
Your problem is that we understand horses a little too well to be influenced by a snake oil vendor!
Who are the 'we' you keep referring to. I am happy making up my own mind and I certainly don't need someone with an obvious agenda trying to influence my opinion. You may not like the Parell's but all this alleged cruelty really is over egging things, particularly when we see real cruelty day after day throughout the UK.
Please explain what my obvious agenda is? Oh and btw - check my posts, I have never commented on a Parelli thread bar this one, so fail to see how I can be a 'usual suspect'! I am not stupid enough to believe that I can influence your opinion but I do retain the right to air mine. BTW 'we' is a generic term used when there is than one person of a like mind, I believe I referred to 'we' in one of my posts.
Oh I agree, there is cruelty day after day in the UK and I speak out and act against that too! This does not make lesser cruelties any less of an issue, I am not going to repeat my earlier post, I would just like to add that, in the course of my job, I meet many Parelli horses, there are the odd ones that appear to well adjusted and happy, but there are far far more who are just 'dead' in the eyes poor little sods.
