Hi,
I've been a lurking member for a little while but had to share pics of our new boy, who arrived on loan yesterday. He is an 8yr old New Forest x TB and is a little super star! He is in very poor condition due to the actions of a previous loaner -he came back looking like a hat rack after being underfed and with incredibly sore feet after they took his shoes off and worked him hard on the road, how people can do that is beyond me. So, our job is to build his topline back up so he is back to his usual condition and then my daughter can get out to PC and local shows etc with him - exciting!
He is just so lovely, affectionate and very responsive, we have fallen in love with him totally - did that when we went to see him first time! He has been out in the field today and then he taught my daughter to lunge, so a busy start but such a gentleman, not a foot wrong with impeccable manners.
Anyway, copious pics attached - sorry for boring anyone! If anyone can suggest any good ways for building top line, other than lunging etc then please do share!
