Just been up to see her and she is breathing very heavily. She has a few white crystals around the nipple, but nothing actually on the end of the nipple. There is also a greyish sort of film around the nipple and just above it.

I am going back up in an hour or so just to see whether she has settled down in her breathing. I had a feel of her bottom, and all around the tail has gone soggy (best way I can describe it) and also on her bottom cheeks near to her lady bits.

Just thought I would keep you updated, and try to keep myself awake

Oh how exciting!!!! I was just going to turn the puter off too. Looks like I'll be having to pop on first thing for an update!

Not sure I'll be able to sleep now. Been excited for days, well weeks really, over Hannah foaling.

We are all holding OUR breath, becki! Very excited, and looking forward to the news. Those of us coming along behind you in our foaling dates have already learnt soooo much from your detailed reports, and I'm sure that we will learn more from your experience of Hannah foaling. You will become our on-line consultant!
I'm already wanting to ask you what bedding you are foaling down on, as it looks from your diary as though its not straw....
Keep us posted, and I hope that it happens soon now so's you don't have too many sleepless nights. Hit the Pro-Plus! LOL

Yep... not til 12pm though but have the two horses to do before that and a much needed shower must be fitted in at some point!

Probably means she will have it just after lunch then, once you have gone to work.

Ahhhh this is awful gotta go into work (on my day off) and I'm gonna miss the update!!! I'm so excited for you, Hannah is going to be a fab mummy. Hope all goes well and i'm looking forward to the update on my return.

Hello... sorry for the excitement guys but there is still no foalie.

Hannah is really really quiet and 'slow' (the best way I can describe her) this morning so I think she had a pretty bad night like me! Her bottom is going even more spongy, although does not look like the pictures I have been shown of slackened bottoms, but then Hannah has always been quite blessed in the bottom department.

The strange smell (I have now decided what it smells like... the waxed table cloths at kids parties) is still there, and her bag is still very warm and full. Still no waxing up that I can see, but will keep checking as knowing her she will suddenly wax up without me noticing.

Her foaling alarm has come this morning which is a big relief...

Last night she was quite stressed out. She kept looking at her sides, breathing very heavily with her flanks heaving, and her ears going flat back as her stomach sort of tensed up!

I think the smell is some type of feremone that mares use to help foals locate their milk.

I think we need to start a sweepstake.

My betting is that she'll foal on this Wednesday pm.

I said Wednesday the other day as well and a filly because it's my niece's birthday! lol

I am soooo excited. Couldn't wait to log on this morning to see if there was any news.
