Yesterday for the 1st time in 3 years I had a lesson! I felt like it went really well and our new instructor was great, she had a fab way of explaining things.
I was riding Lanky who I have only loaned for 2 weeks and had only ridden in the school once, he was quite tense at first and kept breaking into canter but he eventually settled and had definitely improved by the end. My riding isn't as bad as I first though, apparently my leg position is great but I need to sit up more and push my boobs out. J kept shouting 'BOOBS, BOOBS' the whole lesson
I really think both Lanky and I would improve as I am having weekly lessons all summer but the sad news is Lanky has been sold
I knew I was taking a risk when I loaned him as I knew he was for sale, as he was only on short term loan it wouldn't have been fair to stop them selling him when a buyer came along.
His fantastic owner has said I can loan her other horse for the rest of the summer so at least I won't be horseless but I will still be sad to see the lanky one go
He is being picked up in Tuesday and the new horse will be arriving then, never met or ridden him so it will be quite fun getting to know him!
