Has anybody without an indoor rode toay ?

Rode out twice - including the youngster on his own (he found riding over bridges above rushing swirling rivers, quite scary) Got to get them fit for Boxing Day......(youngster is going to find that even scarier - or will I........gulp!)

Had a lesson did have a text this morning asking if I still wanted one but said I had to ride anyway so just cracked on. Was a good lesson

Yes, got soaked. Only rode as they all in today as fields are waterlogged. Then I had to do the xmas food shop on the way home, lovely :D

Yes, we went out for about 3 1/2 hrs hack no problems until Huge Horse lost his back legs on the leaves  and we went for a sliding stop on our sides.
No major damage to either, but he was a bit confused as to what he was doing having a lie down.

Took Mad Arab out for the first time in four weeks ( ice, snow, gales, torrential rain and recovery from a small abcess) very wet and windy ride round Forestry Commission land. Lots of things banging, crashing and waving about. Remarkably sane for once.

Yes,it stopped raining here around 2pm,so we went out while we could.By 4.30 it was raining again.:( We have a pony on trial and have only managed to ride her 9 times in nearly a month.:(

I rode in the outdoor and we both came back soaked. Hoping for a break from this rain as I have 3 to ride/babysit until the new year so need some dry weather!

Yep :) hacked out for a couple of hours. We were both waterproofed up & it was brill. Had a lovely canter up a bridleway, the wind & rain in my face....made me really feel alive :)
Some good patches of deep puddles/flooding to help with our XC water schooling.

I did. We have an indoor but it was booked up for lessons all day, so I brave the wind, rain and low cloud and went for a hack. I can report that my coat is brilliantly waterproof, however my chaps aren't. I'm never buying waterproof gear from Equestrian companies again, they are always rubbish.

Schooled in an outdoor last night.

Bannisters/radiators/coat hooks/curtain rails of my little cottage now littered with every layer i was wearing.

But the little cob my RI has been re-schooling did halt to rein back to trot for me without a giraffe impression at any stage, which made us both happy to be soggy.

I have to ride - if I didn't ride just because it was raining my liveries would never get ridden!

I did five in the rain yesterday and one went hunting. They also get turned out every day, all day regardless of the weather.
