Autumn has and its very early! Was grooming her tonight and she showed me in no uncertain terms she was enjoying it, filthy mare! So coupled with the looneyness of getting over her snow bound holiday I now have hormones to contend with too! Its bloomin early, I thought april was generally when they got going again but I guess they are all different!

My mare hasn't stopped all year!! Every 2-3 weeks regular as clockwork.....

Only problem is, when she's in season, she keeps jumping out of the field (having never done this before in 6 years of owning her!) :(

Yep, mine did today. I went to ride her for the first time in about 2 months and the hunt went through, half hour later she was her old slapper self in the field! She had quite a spring in her step when I rode her a couple of hours later! :)

yup mine is first time ever. She's merrily squealing at the boys when we past their field on the way in and has been a complete cow bag for the last few weeks!

Mine has.....tried to kill me in the stable the other day and flirting with the gelding at the back of her feild:D so quick phone call to the vets and pick up her first bottle of regumate of the year......i was hoping she would wait till march at least! lol

Yes one of my Arab mare is in season. She is standing watching the gelding next door and when I let them into the field next to theirs she just standing nose to nose winking and squirting like mad.

Happy to have the fun but will not stay in foal.

Just waiting for my other mares to come into season too.

Mine as well, we had passage, half pass and all manner of histrionics in the school on Sunday because of the gelding she fancies in the paddock next door. Now just need to work on getting her to do it when I ask her to...

My mare has come into season and is a right stroppy madam, hope it doesn't get any worse in spring! i've put her on a herbal supplement called 'frisky mare' which seems to be balancing out her hormones so fingers crossed!
