Has anyone had a new BHS passport after microchipping?

Got my old things microchipped last month and sent their original blue passports back with the form to be updated. I've received new red ones back, with no explanation. it doesn't matter in the slightest, but has anyone else had the same?

Didn’t the old ones have their inoculations records in them?

I sent my Italian passport away (but not to BHS and can’t off the record remember who) and received the same one back.

oh yeah, should have been clear, the old pages have been put into the new cover.

Did you have the section about signing out of the food chain in the old ones? Many didnt and hence why replacement ones are switched, these ought to have section in?
