Boxed up with friends and rode on mendips no snow near us and stopped raining but v v cold with icy snow in air at very top, lovely ride but glad to get home to nice cuppa . we have been v lucky so far, stay safe all of u with snow.
Its just wet where I am in Hampshire, but I managed to get on and do some walking/ trotting schooling in the field. I've got to ride at the weekends as its the only time I get. I'm praying we don't get snow though.
We've got an indoor school but having been in there every evening after work this week I had wanted to give the horse's a change of scene and a chill out session. Maybe tomorrow?...
Edinburgh bit icy n really windy but ok enough to go a 7 mile dander.thought my feet were gonna break of when I dismounted. This weather makes a massive change we normally get any snow that's about:~)
Too snowy to ride on roads and too wet to ride in fields but I got him across the road to a friends arena to have a play with his friends and a lunge this afternoon. Trying to work him twice a day as for the first time ever I am having to keep in during the day, our fields are under a foot of water (and snow on top!). It's tiring, but two play sessions a day helps to keep him sane and me safe!
We had snow here in south east all morning yesterday which thankfully has near enough gone today so managed to go for a road hack this morning, but didn't go out for long as it is bitterly cold here can't remember the last time I go that cold riding
No the lane to the yard is snowy and icey so can't even get to the main roads which are ok. Plus it's so cold and windy and still snowing. So sat in with a cup of coffee watching tv instead!
