Has anyone still got fly rugs on?

Poor Millie has lived in her tatty fly rug all summer and I am still debating weather to take it off or not.

Are your horses still wearing fly rugs or have they been stashed away until next year?

yep still using mine!....I have used it overnight too as just a little layer of warmth....will be putting it on tomorrow morning when i take ML off

horse flies have been gone for ages but there are still loads of ordinary flies about

yeah mine have thiers on during the day and al ighweight on at night as its getting abit chilly

I had just this weekend packed mine away, having used it about 3 times this summer.. but it will be coming out again tomorrow morning because my mare came in with loads of horrible fly bites this evening. Blooming insects and weather!

yes i use fly rug with summer sheet over at night, great at this time of year and saves me changing too many rugs!!!

Took it off Monday to let him fluff up and get fuzzy before it starts getting too cold.

Sunny has been back in his Rambo Bug Buster for the last few days as the glorious sunshine seemed to bring out the bots and he was getting his knickers in a tangle thinking they were warbles! Probably due to only having one eye, bless him.
