I haven't tried to instant calmer but I do use the powder form, it's the only one that has ever worked on my mare and I noticed a difference after using it for just one day.
I would imagine the Instant calmer is just as good and will be buying some when I need it for my Loopy boy!
It's great! it takes the edge off a nervouse/anxious horse, I use it every time I travel my new horse and he is sssooooo much better, it won't cure them of major sillyness, but it does calm them down a lot.
I even gave it to my laid back horse to help him concentrate in a dressage test, he normally shouts at everything within a 10 mile radius, but he didn'tcall at all - saved my ears that day!!
Its good i used it when my lad was on months of box rest 80%of the time it kept him calm other days was like i hadnt given it him but he could be when somethings really wound him up but over all it definatly took the edge of him
Hmmm - sorry, didn't work for me (or my mare I should say!) She is a very bad traveller and I bought the pack of three syringes - they didn't work each time I tried them
I have to comment on this as i didnt believe in these calmers.
My story.......I went to pick up my friends horses in Shropshire,to bring back down to me in Devon.
One is a bad traveller,so i was not looking forward to the journey. My frioend gave her one tube of NAF magic calmer an hour before we left(the mare was not calm and not stress when we gave it to her)
She was calm all the way back until we got to the Devon sign on the M5.Then she started legging out, licky we didnt have much further to go.
I think this calmer was very affective, but could of lasted just a bit lionger!!!!
