I have been lucky enough to have a few. One with Leslie Law, one with Lucinda Green and one with Stephen Hadley. Had great lessons with Leslie Law and Lucinda Green.I go to watch a friend have a lesson with Carl Hester and would love one with him but I guess im pretty lucky just to be able to go and watch :-).

I have trained with and will start again soon with the Moody sisters - used to be taught with Becky years ago and started up with Hannah last year.
got something lined up with Lee Pearson which im really looking forward to.
im also hoping to get some SJ lessons lined up woith joe Whitaker

bay-beasty - Awww thats nice, its always so much nicer when people like the instructor as not everyone gets on with the instructor lol. A quick story once me and my mum were in Ledbury waiting at traffic lights and there was a car in front obviously not sure where they were going this car got to lights this women ran up to us and started speaking to us and my mum said "are you lucinda green" and she was like "yes" then we had a massive chat in the middle of Ledbury while the lights were changing from red to green :D She was lovely x

vicky - Wow lucky you, i have never had one with someone famous but would love one, maybe one day :D x

daisy - Wow also another lucky person. How do you get all these lessons? :) x

OMG you are also another very very very very lucky person!!

How did you get all those lessons with all those amazing people??

its always useful to have someone that knows someone :D get that person rung up tomorrow :)
my saddle fitter has also agreed to set me some lessons up with someone over at YRC (cant remember his name - not the bartls but one of their instructors) was also thinking about trying a lesson with Steven Smith as he does a clinic at a yard near me but never got my arse into gear lol

If you want to compete against the best you need to be taught by the best and I believe I have been. I will admit I have been very lucky and have been in the right place at the right time but the opportunity is there for the taking if you see an opening grab it with both hands Yeeehaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah i agree, if i won a lesson or had the opportunity i would never turn it down! Who have you been taught by? x

Yep, Tim Stockdale when i was 11, Ellen Whittaker, David Broome and Geoff Billington all within the last 5 years on Potts :D Geoff was my favorite but all fantastic, Broomie and Ellen both very impressed by my 14.3hh jumping in seniors and frequently beating big names and Geoff wanted to kidknap him!!

Trained at a fabulously busy yard when I was younger and was involved in all sorts of demos and lessons including Stephen Hadley, Emile Faurie, Mary Wanless, The Bartles, John Thelwall (sp?), Tim Stockdale.
Have since paid for lessons with Anna Ross-Davies and Rebecca Hughes. I felt I took something from all the lessons (some more than others ;) ) and would encourage peeps to mix it around a bit from time to time or go and watch some clinics/lessons taught by different people.
Btw, the horse my friend rode for aMary Wanless demo was not 'having a bean' of her 'ride with your mind' ideas. He was a real stubborn, big brute of a horse and really tested her - she coped tho' :).

Yes. Although many people won't remember her now, she still trains Lucinda Green.

Remember Pat Burgess anybody? Yes, she still teaches way into her 70s and I have organized a few clinics with her. :D She's great!

I had 2 lessons over a weekend with Tim Stockdale. Day 1 he made me cry and I almost didn't go back the next day but glad I did as I got so much out of the Sunday. Think everything he told me sunk in overnight and all came together. What also helped was that I was riding my very difficult mare and he sat on her and also struggled. Made me feel much better.

I'm taught my someone who has been around Badminton and have been to rc rallies with another who has been around badders but I wouldn't call them famous, but if they're good enough for badminton they're good enough for me! ;)

My mums trains(ed) with Adam Kemp, Matt Frost, Damian Hallam, & Darryll Thickitt to name a few. They're all for sale and pretty accessable ;-)
My mum also won a lesson with Carl Hester years ago, but she'd just got a four year old and didn't want to take him so gave it to her friend - she went to watch instead.
