Its getting to the stage were i cant actually remember when the last time I rode. Due to the snow and ice which we've had since well before xmas, i havent been able to ride in the outdoor or on the roads!! I do however have very clean tack and a very clean horse.(trying to look on the bright side hummmm)

She was lovely.
Unfortunately, couldn't ride today as the school has iced up again...

In a word no,............but keeping fingers crossed its starting to thaw nicely today, but just hope it doesnt freeze again overnight.

Nope...have been very lazy. My last ride was on Christmas Day. I can't be doing with getting cold fingers and toes...Luckily my lot live out 24/7 and couldn't care less either

No, Che is now a retired, retired racehorse and my saddle has a layer of dust over it. Keeping everything crossed that the steady thaw which started yesterday carries on til the weekend, then we shall venture out.

Makes me feel better that im not the only one. (well i knew i wanst with the obviously polar ice weather we have all been getting but its nice to share lol)

Yes, but only on 1st, 2nd and 3rd Jan when our first lot of snow had begun to disappear and before this most recent lot of snow arrived. Even then it was only at walk, as the ground was was so hard and rutted (I don't have the luxury of a school). Had entered for local dressage on 3rd, but that was cancelled.

Still, mine live out 24/7 and are doing fine in this snow and as they're able to stretch their legs as much as they want, there's no desperate need for them to be ridden. I'm letting them enjoy their extra holiday!

Yes Iv ridden everyday since the snow. Our outdoor arena is right outside our stable block so I have managed to ride daily although its been too icey and too much snow around for turnout!!

I had a fall 7th December and broke some ribs which sort of coincided with the bad weather,so the weather has almost eased my frustation of being out of the saddle for a few weeks as I couldn't have ridden even if I had wanted to

No - I don't think we've ridden since the beginning of November, what with rain, mud and snow and ice.

Same

Although on the plus side, my horse is getting a much-deserved holiday so I'm not feeling to sorry about it.

Ah Chico that's not fair - you live in Spain!!!

I have not ridden since the 31st Dec when I went hunting - I am thinking of giving it a go in the snow tomorrow now it is softer

I rode 9 days ago, was out for about an hour when it started to snow. Hard! that was the first and last time this year.

I wish the ground would clear.
