Have you seen this ad?

well thats an interesting way of saying the horse can jump.....oops :(
looks like it said sod you lot I'm off....I would hate to have a horse that thought it was OK to do this....but yes I would say he has scope lol :)

Lovely looking lad...I guess in right hands he'd do well.

Poor thing I wonder how many times they made him jump that for the picture.
So dangerous. Saw a mare die jumping post and rail on her own never mind a gate. Missed and the fence collapsed underneath her splitting her sides open.

I knew this horse from his previous home and he was a lovely boy and truly talented (like HOYS potential) jumping wise. This picture is horrendous and does not do the horse justice at all!!! If you saw the proper jumping pictures his back end is in orbit!!! Shame cuz he is fab :(

He does look like a lovely horse Lexis I completely agree, he looks very genuine and sweet. Just don't know why his owners would want to put a photo of him loose jumping a gate? Surely a fence (as in jump!) would be better.

one of mine does this all the time, he hates being out so just bring himself in when he has had enough, i contacted his previous owner and he did it when they had him as well, they had bred him ans said he had done this ever since he was a foal, so 17 years of jumping post and rail fences and not a mark on him. having said that I really wish he didn't do it, gives me a heart attack every time and makes life much more complicated.

My second horse did this once and never again did I ever loose school her!! She jumped the loose jump fence, then carried on and jumped out of the school and out across road infront on a bus........................ Thankfully bus driver was a very good one and had slowed to come around nearby corner and was easily able to stop, needless to say my heart was in my mouth and never again was she EVER loose schooled.............. And of course needless to say I didn't have a camera ready to take a pic!!! I think it would be pretty impossible to take a pic like that unless you knew it was going to happen... And if that's the case why let the horse (a youngster at that) acknowledge that it can and is allowed to do this, makes the whole breaking in a scarey-er prospect.....

But having said all that, the horse looks a good type and has scope!!!

when i saw the first pics and the other pics i thought he looked rather nice, but it does make me wonder when i see the pic of him jumping the gate! does anyone else think it looks photoshopped? what a strange picture to put on an ad though?

But he's only 3 now. How much jumping has he done? He does look a really nice type though even though as you say the advert does him no justice.

Surely its photoshopped? Personally I think the horse looks completely out of proportion to the gate, it just doesnt look right!

If its not photoshopped then I think it was deffo just caught in the moment......I dont think they have trained him to do it they probably thought to use the photo to show the scope and that potential buyers would be impressed with the height......but obviously people are more concerned with the habit that could be formed then impressed...!!

The horse/owners are lucky that the landing the other side looks soft, if that was concrete/or recent snow/ice it could have been a very different story..!!

I thought the same benson21 and also think his back looks roached almost as if he is rodeoing!

Totally agree and too be honest I would NEVER buy from someone that did this to sell a horse, even if the photo was real I wouldn't trust them. Its just weird and wrong

C'mon, give the sellers SOME credit.....they did state the horse 'loose jumps anything'...hardly lying there are they :D

Do agree with the majority though, not a picture I would use to show a horse's jumping ability.
