The first and last are Wilson snaffles I think, a type of driving bit.

The hanging cheek is also known as a filet boucher.

The ones with four rings are Wilson bits, used for driving, the one with keys is a breaking bit, with keys, the twisted straight bar snaffles are just that. The one with the points at each end is a single jointed loose ring full cheek, the other is a single jointed hanging cheek.

Just shows how the same bit can be known by many different names, just to confuse!

I don't think the 5th and 6th ARE twisted snaffles. I think those are the ones that have bumps on one side and are smooth on the other. Typically I don't remember what they're called

BTW This is what I understand to be a twisted snaffle;

The twisted ones are flat ring straight bar snaffles with twisted mouths.

The full cheek one is a loosering Fulmer

Ones with bumps on one side and not the other are serrated.

The four ring bit is a Wilson not a scourier, they are different
