I do everything to whistle. Name for sending for a retrieve and in the case of OMG I’ve lost it emergency.
Mainly because on the big shoots if there are 8 of you picking up the whistle peep sound far more grown up than a bellow. Not saying the bellow never happens… ?

Saves the voice, too, no need to bellow across a field!

Well he’s six months old. He’s a little star, definitely. Slower to develop than the girls, I normally start a bit of retrieve training now and although he gets very excited by the dummy he can only bring it back once, after that it’s all too much. So we have shelved that plan for a couple of weeks.
He’s starting to look more like a young dog than a puppy. He still doesn’t seem to know what nadgers are all about, long may that continue. He does check under the girls tails occasionally but gets told to take his nose away pdq. By them!
Kennels still aren’t built, builder had covid. So he still lives in. ?.
And he loves me.
