On Saturday I had a look round at our local tack shop (there was a sale, would have been rude not to
) and there in the distance I spotted something twinkling at me.
It was only a rack of Schockemohle bridles (oh hell, dont do it, look away now I thought) but there there were crystals, diamantes and patent leather all calling me, drawing me closer and closer and then there were voices, evil voices in my head chanting at me ''buy me buy me, just think how good Ill look on your horse
I drooled over them for about 10 minutes, then reality hit when I looked at the price tag of the one I really liked and I came back to earth with a whopping great thud, thankfully I didnt have any spare notes knocking about in my moth eaten purse but if I had, oh if I had *dreams picturing it on Mr M* I wouldnt of been able to resist temptation!!!
Sunday arrives, came back from my ride and because something had been irritating him (a tickle on his head or nose as he was shaking his head about on the way home, did give him the chance to rub his nose on his leg in case i was that but he declined) Jumped off when we got back and he made a B line for the brick wall where the yard gate is, so I let him have the pleasure of a rub while I opened the gate (rather than on me
), heard something grate on the wall
and there was a trickle of diamantes hanging in shreds on the chain from the brow band scatting in the stones with his forelock flicked up like Fragile Rock, bits of loose hair blowing in the breeze and a very relieved look on his face, yep he wrecked his bling.
Some how I really dont think Ill be saving up and purchasing the one I saw on Saturday, Ill stick with peasant makes and prices.
Any suggestions on any nice quality leather black blingy bridles that won't break the bank that would suit my boy?
