If mum is just about ‘pony’ sized in headcollar (was Shetland sized as a 2yo but now into pony sized) - what size am I looking at for her weanling? Shetland size is definitely too big (but we did manage to use it to move fields!). We think baby will be bigger then her dam if that is any use. I have tried to measure, but baby ponies and measuring tapes are not really best friends, so measurements are approximate at best!

I think ‘pony foal’ has the right measurements - just checking I am not miles out of what I should be doing before I order the thing (I have seen ‘yearling’ headcollar and all sorts so am slightly confused now!).

Most my adult minis fit into a KM elite xxxs headcollar on the smallest holes, shetland and weanling sizes are way too big on them, so if sheltand is too big right now that may suit. There is plenty of room in it to go up for a while.

My WB yearling only grew out of her large foal headcollar this summer :p so Pony foal is probably not far off
I've been using Hy headcollars which have buckles on nose, throat and headpiece as they are super adjustable.
