And wasn't it a bad one! Wind, rain, dark and miserable. My poor fields saturated and water running every where. I'd put the ponies in early so this morning was a double whammy of mucking out. Lnd looks better though and will look forward to a second or so more of day light!

What was a bad one? Winter has only just started, lol! I find Jan-March far worse and soul destroying than October to December, lol! Nice thought though OP, summer ... oh summer were are you .....I need heat!

Oh I understand. they keep me in a windowless cell .. I mean office ... so i dont see daylight at the moment. Leave home in the dark, get home in the dark!
Not long Rumtytum and we can moan about the ground being too hard, the horse flies and it being too hot to ride

Every year everyone is so excited for Christmas but I'm just over here like, WINTER SOLSTICE!
It is rainy and a bit windy here, but it not snow, ice, or frigid temps so I am ok with it!

It’s been fine with me. My ponies are all still out, still have grass, it’s very mild. We’ve had a bit of rain but no flooding like usual, unfortunately though winter has only begun and there’s plenty of time for it to turn horrible!
Just realised you meant the one day was bad! Yes it was wet and gloomy!

Was a horrible day here, much worse than we expected. The ponies paddocks are awash, so depressing.
