My cat is going to the vet this evening.
He has FIV and has had a scabby jaw and ears and he's been scratching them open and its pretty painful for him and its becoming infected.
One previous vet said it was dermititus and i shouldnt treat it due to his FIV - im beginning to think this is nonsense!
I'm very worried that this is the FIV virus kicking in and he will have to be PTS
I've got my fingers crossed that its a simple skin infection and that it can be treated without lowering his immune system too much.
I am at work and cant stop worrying about him
