Healing vibes for pony colic.

2 year old pony came in colking form field. Vets referred to RVC- so they are currently on route to RVC - owners not experienced, thank god I am, told them CALL VET, was getting down on concrete too. Fingers crossed, young girl (10) in lorry with her pony with dad following. Never a good thing when they say RVC now.

I hope the pony survives and makes a speedy recovery. My friends horse died on the operating table two days ago it was heartbreaking for the owner. I never seen horse that sick in my life the horse was collapsing with the pain it left me traumatised.

Yes sadly seen this myself, horse dripping in sweat and falling around stable. Terrible business.

Just had an update from the owner from RVC


Thank you so much for everyone’s help with Storm earlier. She is comfortable at RVC, they suspect it’s Enteritis but going to observe her throughout the night and update us tomorrow if nothing changes before then.

Of my liveries colicky last week , New Year’s Eve turned out as normal
In the morning left for 2x hours came back to bring in and was colicky called vets staright away was down and unable to get up by time vet arrived straight to vets had surgery that night xx so stressful owners away and horrendous travel conditions but we did it xx

She had a good night, quiet at times.. they are going to start introducing food again today and all being well she should be back tomorrow

Hi Yes there is - pony came home today, they kept her in a bit long to introduce food again, even though they wormed the pony prior to purchase. It turns out she had a very high worm count 700 pg, they wormed her at RVC and then kept her in Thursday and Friday to make sure she was ok.

She was rescued from the mobile kind of people.
